Covering every inch of space

When people mention the word loft, the first thing that may come to mind is a cramped studio type of living space with no divides and where the kitchen, dining and living area are just a couple of steps away from each other. But unfortunately, the idea of loft living is sometimes taken wrongly. True, most loft spaces are small, but they are not necessarily cramped. It all depends on how well the plan and design of the room is laid out.

To answer the occupant’s need for more space, every square inch should be designed for a particular purpose and function. A dark, sharp angled corner for instance can be transformed into a beautiful and functional storage nook. All you have to do is put a cabinet or a shelf where you can stack your old CD’s or photo albums. A lamp can likewise be installed to provide a soothing and subdued lighting effect to the entire area.
