Living in Lofts

Make sure that your stairs and steps are very secure to avoid accidents and injuries.

1. The reason why rails are installed is for safety. If you are worried about how rails would make your loft less posh then by all means, have one commissioned to your taste.
2. Make sure that all steps are of the same size.
3. Install light fixtures above landings and stairs.
4. Make sure that the stairs are clutter free. But if you can’t help it, place a basket or bin at the top and/or at the bottom step as a catch-all container.
5. Fix the carpet to all the steps on the stairs to avoid tripping and falling.
