Lofts are large adaptable open spaces, usually industrial in nature, and are either created or converted for residential use. They are usually two-storied studios that are comprised of a downstairs living, kitchen, and bath, and an upstairs bedroom. There are different kinds of lofts depending on its residential use. For example, there are loft apartments and loft condominiums.
